The Dilemma of Cryptocurrency Token Listings: Solutions for High Valuation and Low Liquidity
Challenges and Solutions for Token Listing in the Crypto Market
The current listing status of tokens in the crypto market is not optimistic. Many newly issued projects perform poorly for retail investors, while venture capital firms are able to profit from them. This has led to a series of projects with high fully diluted valuations (FDV) but very low circulating volumes.
Data shows that no matter which trading platform the Token is listed on, its price has not significantly increased. On the contrary, most new Tokens have seen a price drop after listing. Even being listed on some major trading platforms does not guarantee an increase in the Token's price.
In order to go public, project parties often need to pay high costs, including listing fees, deposits, and mandatory marketing expenses. These costs can consume a lot of resources for the project, yet the results may not be satisfactory.
In this regard, the following suggestions are made:
The project should focus on product development and user growth, rather than blindly pursuing listing on large trading platforms.
You may consider listing on the decentralized exchange (DEX) first, which can save listing fees and make it easier for real users to participate.
Launch the project at a lower valuation, allowing early users to share in the growth dividends and create positive incentives.
Establish a fairer Token allocation plan to align the interests of the team, investors, and users.
Focus on long-term value creation, rather than short-term price fluctuations and market speculation.
In summary, project teams should focus on creating quality products and expanding their user base, rather than overly concerning themselves with listing details. Only projects that genuinely create value for users can achieve long-term success.
