The TON ecosystem welcomes a turning point: the return of the founder brings multiple positive impacts

On March 15, 2025, the TON ecosystem迎来重要转折点. After being detained for nearly 7 months, the founder of Telegram was finally allowed to leave France and is returning to Dubai. This news has sparked joy in the TON community, with several ecosystem projects holding celebrations.

Over the past 7 months, the TON ecosystem has experienced significant fluctuations. Starting from August 2024, the ecosystem indicators sharply declined, with the coin price falling from $6.7 to $3.4, a drop of over 50%. However, with the return of the founder, the TON ecosystem is showing signs of recovery.

Observing from multiple dimensions, this event has had a significant impact on the TON ecosystem:

TVL Change

The total locked value of TON ( TVL ) increased by 18 million dollars on March 15, marking the largest single-day increase of the month, far exceeding the average levels of other public chains. Among them, major protocols like STON.fi and EVAA Protocol saw increases of about 5 million dollars.

On-chain Activity

The daily trading volume has rebounded to early March levels, with the increase mainly coming from DEX interactions. In terms of active addresses, approximately 3,000 new DEX-related addresses have been added. The trading volume and user numbers on meme token issuance platforms have also returned to levels seen a week ago, largely thanks to the Blum project.

Ecological Coin Price

Ecological tokens are generally on the rise, with more than 52 tokens increasing by over 10% in the past 24 hours. Among them, resistance-dog, paper-plane, mittens-2, and gentleman have performed particularly well.

From the perspective of market capitalization, small-cap tokens (<1M) had the largest increase. For tokens less than 1M and greater than 100M, this wave of increase has basically erased nearly a month of decline.
