Sun Yuchen accuses Bloomberg of publishing false and private financial information in its billionaire rankings.
Golden Finance reported that TRON blockchain founder Justin Sun has sued Bloomberg and is seeking a temporary restraining order, alleging that it published false and confidential financial information in its billionaire rankings. A representative of Sun Yuchen stated in a blog post on TRON on Tuesday that the profile of Sun Yuchen in the Bloomberg Billionaires Index released on Monday "published inaccurate data that seriously and dangerously misrepresents Sun Yuchen's assets." Sun Yuchen claims that he issued a stop letter to Bloomberg on August 2, aiming to prevent the public release of his held cryptocurrencies, but Bloomberg confirmed that it will still publish the article. In a blog post on Tuesday, Sun Yuchen stated that the report attributed the cryptocurrency holdings to him, "when he has never owned, controlled, or had any actual interest in them, and has not reported the actual amount of cryptocurrencies he holds." He claimed in the complaint that the public disclosure of his cryptocurrency holdings "would cause significant harm" and expose him to "the substantial risk of theft, hacking, kidnapping, and personal injury to himself and his family."
