PANews November 16th news, Aptos ecosystem Decentralized Finance project Thala announced the latest announcement on the X platform, stating that due to a security vulnerability in the latest V1 Liquidity pool contract, assets worth $25 million were stolen. Currently, Thala has suspended all related contracts and frozen ThalaToken assets ($9 million in MOD and $2.5 million in THL). With the assistance of other institutions, all user assets have been restored through a $300,000 bounty with the attacker's protocol.
It should be noted that affected users do not need to take any further action, and positions will be fully restored 100%. However, all related contracts and the Thala front end will remain paused until deemed completely secure. Existing positions in CDP and LST modules are not affected. Currently, the codebase of the protocol is undergoing extensive review and re-audit of all affected and related packages. We will share more detailed information as soon as possible.
