On Gate, users can set price alerts to quickly respond to changes in their chosen trading pairs, helping them capitalize on opportunities without needing to constantly monitor prices.
1. Spot alert settings
App
1. Setting Path
Path 1： Tap "Trade" in the bottom navigation bar of the app, select "Spot," and search for the trading pair you want to set an alert for. Click the "..." icon in the top right corner and choose "Alerts Settings" from the menu to access the alert setup interface.
Path 2：Tap "Trade" in the bottom navigation bar, select "Spot," and search for the desired trading pair. Click the "Candlestick" icon in the top right corner to enter the market view, then tap the "Alert" button at the bottom of the page to access the alert settings.
Path 3： On the app home page, tap the "Profile" icon in the top left corner and tap your profile picture again to enter the user center. Select "Push Settings" under "Preferences," then click "Market"-"Alert", and then "Batch Adding" . Search for and select the trading pairs you want to set alerts for, and then click "Continue" to configure the alerts.
2. Parameter Settings
In the alert settings, you can set your "Alert Conditions," including the price, percentage change, and reminder frequency (choose between continuous alerts or a one-time notification). After configuring these settings, click the alert icon in the top right corner to view, modify, or delete your alerts, and ensure the "Alert Switch" is turned on.
Note: Paths 1 and 2 allow you to set both price and percentage change alerts, while Path 3 only supports percentage change alerts. You can later add price alerts in the "Alert Center.
Web：
1.To set up alerts on the web, click "Trade" in the top navigation bar and select "Spot." Then, click the "Alert" icon in the top right corner to access the alert settings.
2.From there, select "Spot," choose your trading pair, and set your "Price" and "Percentage Change" parameters. Click "Add Notification" to save your settings. You can also decide whether to enable the "Continuous Alerts" option and delete any existing alerts.
2. Futures alert settings
App：
1. Setting Path
To set up alerts, tap "Futures" in the bottom navigation bar, search for the trading pair you want to add an alert for, and click the "Candlestick" icon in the top right corner. Then, tap the "Alert" button at the bottom of the page to access the alert settings.
2. Parameter Settings
For futures, you can choose to set alerts based on either the "Last Price" or the "Mark Price." After the price mode is decided, set the "Price" and "Percentage" parameters for the alert. If you need to delete an alert, you can do so from the same page.
Web：
1.To set up alerts on the web, click "Futures" in the top navigation bar and select "Perpetual Futures" to enter the contract trading interface. Then, click the "Price Alert" icon in the top right corner to access the alert settings.
2.From there, choose "Contract" and select a trading pair, select either "Last Price" or "Mark Price" for alerts, and set your "Price" and "Percentage" parameters. Click "Add Notification" to save your settings. You can also choose to enable the "Continuous Alert" option and delete any existing alerts as needed.
3. Important Notes
1.Ensure that the alert switch is turned on to receive notifications.
2.Allow GateApp to send notifications in your phone's settings.
3.You will receive alerts only when the specified conditions are met.
4.Keep the Gate App running in the background; do not close it.
5.Alerts set on the web will also notify you through the app when the conditions are met.
