SEC mendorong proposal tokenisasi sekuritas Nasdaq, pasar modal AS menuju tahap baru digitalisasi di blockchain
The U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) has officially initiated the approval process for the Nasdaq tokenized securities trading proposal, marking a key step for mainstream U.S. securities exchanges toward tokenized financial infrastructure. The proposal aims to allow Nasdaq to list and trade tokenized securities, including stocks, sparking significant market attention on the prospects of on-chain real-world assets (RWA).
According to the latest order issued by the SEC, the regulatory agency is soliciting further public comments on the rule change proposed by Nasdaq to assess whether to approve its tokenized securities trading. The SEC noted that because the proposal involves important legal and policy issues, initiating a formal approval process is necessary and appropriate.
