Bitcoin developer Peter Todd has developed a new mechanism to resist "cleaner" node interference.
Gate News bot message, according to Protos, Bitcoin developer Peter Todd is developing a new mechanism to automatically disconnect Bitcoin Core nodes from nodes implementing "cleaner" attack. Previously, Todd proposed to adjust the default OP_RETURN data limit of Bitcoin Core to nearly 4MB. Some opponents disguise themselves as nodes by deploying "cleaner" software, using broadcast interference to block the propagation of large data transactions. This new rule is expected to be released in October with Core v30, and Todd is currently accelerating the development of countermeasures to maintain the implementation of his on-chain data expansion plan.
