BlockBeats News, on August 21st, FIL announced that the second round of FIL-RetroPGF (Retrospective Public Goods Funding) program will be launched in the fall of 2024. The program aims to provide traceable impact funds for the FIL ecosystem. The first round of FIL-RetroPGF has distributed over 200,000 FIL (approximately 1 million USD) to 95 projects. The second round of the program will provide more funding, simplify the application, voting, and allocation process, and improve the user experience. The funds will be distributed through Drips on FVM. FIL-RetroPGF-2 will continue to cover multiple categories including infrastructure, tools, education, protocol development, governance, and products, especially following FIL data entry, applications that improve usability, FVM on-chain payment development, protocol development progress, cross-network connection projects, and reliable tools such as high-quality RPC providers, browsers, and dashboards.
