The upgrade and split of ETH Pectra is expected to be decided at the next Ethereum core developer meeting on September 19.
Odaily Planet Daily News Galaxy Cryptocurrency researcher Christine Kim previously summarized the 196th ETH Core Developer Meeting (ACDE) and stated that ETH developers are seriously considering splitting the Pectra upgrade into two separate upgrades. It is reported that ETH developers will make a decision on this at the next ETH core developer conference call on September 19th. Christine Kim said that due to the complexity of the current Pectra fork and more demands for upgrades, it is highly likely to split into two independent upgrades (Prague upgrade and Electra upgrade).
