ChainCatcher news, think tank OMFIF conducted a recent survey on Central Bank Digital Money (CBDC) and found that nearly three-quarters (72%) of the surveyed Central Banks intend to issue CBDC. Most of them (48% of respondents) plan to issue it within five years, with 12% of respondents planning to issue it in the next two years.
