Visa collaborates with Bridge to launch a Visa card supporting stablecoins, first logging in to six countries in Latin America.

Visa announced a collaboration with Bridge, a startup recently acquired by Stripe, to launch a new product that allows developers to issue Visa cards supporting stablecoins. The card can be used for purchases at merchants accepting Visa, with Bridge handling backend operations such as stablecoin balance deductions and fiat conversions. The product will initially roll out in Argentina, Colombia, Ecuador, Mexico, Peru, and Chile, where merchants will receive payments in local currency. (The Block)
