According to BlockBeats, the U.S. government initiated a review of SpaceX's contracts with federal agencies shortly after U.S. President Donald Trump suggested severing business ties with Elon Musk's companies in early June. This move followed Musk's escalation of personal attacks against Trump on June 5.
A senior official from the U.S. General Services Administration requested that the Department of Defense, NASA, and other federal agencies submit an electronic form listing all current contracts and agreements with SpaceX. After reviewing the data, officials from the White House and various agencies, including the Pentagon, concluded that most of these contracts are crucial for the Department of Defense and NASA.
Despite the review, insiders indicate that some of SpaceX's contracts may continue to be scrutinized. However, the majority are deemed essential and unlikely to be canceled.
