$74,000 Hedging Pullback, Why Do I Still Dare to Go Short?

@Gate Square Weekend Charts I Stand "📉 Pullback and Decline". BTC has currently hit $74,000, and I chose to open a short position here to hedge the pullback. The reasons are as follows:

1. Key Resistance Level
$74,000 is the "bears' last line of defense" mentioned by multiple analysts previously, and also a major stop-loss level for a large number of short positions. The battle between bulls and bears is most intense at this position, making it prone to spike reversals and pullbacks.

2. Short Squeeze Nearing Completion
This rally was mainly driven by oversaturated short positions (bull-to-bear ratio once reached 1:7), pushed by whale liquidations. Now that the shorts have been mostly cleared, the "fuel" for the rally is running low.

3. Weekend Liquidity
Weekend market depth decreases, and above $74,000 is just "thin air". Once buying pressure can't keep up, prices can easily drop rapidly.

4. Risk Management
If the price holds steady above $74,500, I will admit I was wrong and stop loss. Going short at this position is left-side hedging—light position + stop loss is the bottom line.
