So, have you ever thought about mining crypto on your phone? Yeah, there are several mining apps out there that promise to do that, and people are pretty divided on whether it's really worth it.
The main mining apps everyone uses are well known. There's CryptoTab, which was one of the first, and basically you install it, activate mining, and leave it running. Then there are those cloud mining apps, like the one offered by the big famous exchange in the market, where you rent hash power and receive rewards directly on the platform. There's also StormGain, which is cool because it's easy to use, but it requires a restart every 4 hours, which is a bit annoying. NiceHash is another popular option because it has a very useful earnings calculator, especially for beginners. And there's Bitdeer too, which more experienced miners really like because it accesses more professional equipment.
Now, honestly, mining crypto on your phone is quite controversial. Some people think it's totally useless because of the competition, since you need to monitor it for about 8 hours a day, and there's also a risk of fraud. But others think the opposite, believing that mobile mining apps are a simple and accessible way to make some extra money. The truth is that everyone's opinion probably changes as phone chips improve and new cryptocurrencies with better algorithms emerge.
If you want to try mining Bitcoin on Android, it's basically installing a mining app, creating an account, setting up your wallet, choosing the pool, and clicking start. On iPhone, it's more complicated because of Apple's restrictions, but then you just use these cloud apps instead.
As for the easiest cryptocurrencies to mine in 2024, people point to Monero (XMR, trading around $400), Dogecoin (DOGE at $0.11), Vertcoin, and Ravencoin (RVN at $0.01). But remember that the time to mine a full Bitcoin on a smartphone is ridiculously long, like 10 minutes just for one block, so if you really want efficiency, you need specialized equipment or hire cloud mining.
In the end, the decision is yours. Whether you're going to use a mining app to earn passive income or think it's not worth it, do your research before jumping in. And if you try it, enable two-factor authentication to stay secure. Leave your comment if you've already tested any of these apps!
