Web3 wallets are public and private keys that store blockchain transactions and are the future of the Internet. They provide us with a way to use hardware or software to obtain funds, interact with decentralized applications and banks, collect non-fungible tokens (NFTs), create on-chain identities, collaborate with communities, and provide more use cases beyond the scope of traditional wallets.
The Web3 wallet will serve as the import and export of users' cryptocurrencies, non-fungible tokens (NFTs), decentralized finance (DeFi), and other decentralized applications (Dapps).
The Web3 wallet includes two specific categories, custodial wallet and non-custodial wallet. A custodial wallet refers to a private key held by a third-party company, such as some exchanges. A non-custodial wallet refers to the private key of the user's own wallet, the user has complete control over the assets in the wallet and can fully access their Web3 wallet, such as the Gate Web3 wallet.
