According to Gate.io News bot, CoinDesk reports that the defunct blockchain company BANKEX has filed a lawsuit against ZKsync developer Matter Labs in the New York State Supreme Court for alleged intellectual property theft.
BANKEX pointed out in the lawsuit that two former employees, during their participation in the Plasma project, privately established Matter Labs using company resources and claimed the company's technology as their own.
Matter Labs responded to this, denying all allegations and emphasizing that ZKsync is a self-developed technology, stating that these lawsuits are "baseless."
