Stablecoin issuer Tether has released its fourth-quarter attestation report signed by the accounting firm BDO, with an annual net profit of over 13 billion US dollars. Holding 113 billion US dollars in U.S. Treasury bonds, the Circulating Supply reaches 143.7 billion US dollars, with an excess reserve of over 7 billion US dollars in the fourth quarter of 2024.

Stablecoin issuer Tether has announced the audit report for the fourth quarter of 2024 issued by BDO, one of the world's top five accounting firms.

As of December 31, 2024, the total assets of the group were $143,704,755,547, and the total liabilities were $136,617,485,006, with assets exceeding liabilities. The difference between assets and liabilities, which would be listed as shareholders' equity on a traditional balance sheet, is referred to as Shareholder Capital Cushion by Tether, with an amount of approximately $7.09 billion.

82.35% of the assets reserve are held in the form of cash, cash equivalents, and other short-term deposits. The amount of directly and indirectly held US Treasury bonds is as high as $113 billion.

Tether holds 78.6 billion US dollars worth of Bitcoin and 53.2 billion US dollars worth of precious metals, (, i.e. gold ).
