(MENAFN) Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan has officially appointed two new deputy governors to the Central Bank, according to a notice published in the Official Gazette early Tuesday.
Fatma Ozkul, who previously served as a member of the bank’s monetary policy committee, was named to one of the deputy governor positions, bringing her expertise in monetary policy and economic analysis to the leadership team.
The president also appointed Gazi Ishak Kara as the other deputy governor, expanding the bank’s senior management as it navigates Turkey’s complex economic challenges, including inflation control and currency stabilization.
