According to on-chain data for crypto, the developer team of the memecoin MELANIA, launched by Melania Trump, the wife of US President Donald Trump, has continued to make large sales in the last eight days.
The data reveals that MELANIA developers sold 9.99 million MELANIA worth $4.65 million in eight days, both through DCA and through one-sided liquidity. In total, since March 16, developers have sold tokens to raise 170,000 SOL, worth approximately $23 million. MELANIA, like many memecoins, operates on the Solana network. U.S. President Donald Trump’s TRUMP token, on the other hand, runs on the Ethereum network.
Despite the TRUMP token’s relative success in holding its ground in the market, MELANIA is attracting attention with its extremely low performance. The token has experienced a 97% drop from its all-time high price level in January. TRUMP, on the other hand, is trading at a price that is 83% lower than its record level. However, TRUMP ranks among the major altcoins with a market value of $2.54 billion, while MELANIA has only around $200 million in market value.
It should be noted that both altcoins have completely speculative characteristics and almost no use cases.
