Price broke through the previous high resistance of 71800 at the 4-hour level, with the latest K-line closing at 71773. The breakout was accompanied by increased volume (1H trading volume 17:00-18:00 5865→9780 4H), and open interest (OI) trend remained stable with no decline in OI commonly seen in false breakouts. Key evidence lies in order book depth: the sell-1 level (71770.9) accumulated massive sell orders of 11.98 BTC, while the buy-side orders below are dispersed and thin. This structure indicates that whales have placed large orders above the key resistance level to suppress price, while weak buy orders below are designed to create an illusion of weak upside momentum, inducing retail traders to short or hand over chips. However, the price only showed a minor pullback despite the massive sell orders suppressing it, indicating strong real buying pressure. Positive funding rate (0.0043%) shows longs are willing to pay costs to hold their positions, representing a healthy chip-buying phase rather than frenzied chasing highs.
