Arthur Hayes: Bitcoin has become a hedging tool, predicting it will reach $250,000 by 2025.
Gate.io News bot message, renowned figure in the Crypto Assets industry Arthur Hayes pointed out in the latest podcast that institutional investors' perception of Bitcoin has changed. Bitcoin is no longer seen as a "high Beta asset of the NASDAQ," but is positioned as a "hedging tool against the decline of American exceptionalism."
Hayes stated: "They may think I should hold some bitcoin because I can't predict what's going to happen next with US-China relations and Trump's policies." He also predicted that the price of Bitcoin will reach $250,000 by 2025.
Regarding market liquidity, Hayes believes that the real peak of currency creation will occur between 2026 and 2027. He points out that starting from May 2026, an extremely loose cycle will begin, and the market will reach its peak between 2026 and 2027. In addition, Hayes assesses Solana as the most undervalued Layer 1 network in the current market.
