Ministry of Foreign Affairs: China and all peace-loving countries must work together to curb Japan's right-wing forces from advancing their "re-militarization" ambitions

Recently, Russian Security Council Secretary Shoigu stated that Russia firmly opposes Japan’s accelerated “re-militarization” ambitions. During a routine press conference on February 3, Foreign Ministry spokesperson Lin Jian said that China and Russia have a highly consistent stance on issues related to Japan. Japan’s accelerated “re-militarization” threatens regional peace and stability, and the international community and regional countries are highly alert to this. China, along with all peace-loving countries, must work together to curb Japan’s right-wing forces’ ambitions to push forward with “re-militarization,” and jointly safeguard the achievements of World War II victory and the hard-won world peace.
