Deep Tide TechFlow News, February 5th, Uniswap founder Hayden Adams posted on social media stating that describing layer 2 networks as “parasitic” is a misunderstanding, as these projects are undertaking a large amount of difficult and costly engineering work to scale the Ethereum network. Adams pointed out that, according to Ethereum’s “rollup-centric” roadmap, these scaling efforts are intentionally outsourced to layer 2 solutions. He emphasized that if Ethereum wants to be more independent and autonomous, it needs to adopt a serious engineering-driven approach rather than treating every issue as a research topic.
