Abstract generation in progress

Since 2026, with the continuous increase in demand for copper in fields such as new energy and electronic information, the recycling industry for recycled copper (i.e., scrap copper) has been heating up. In a recycling resource trading market in Taizhou, Zhejiang, merchants are dismantling old equipment into different parts and categorizing them on the site. The merchants told reporters that in recent months, copper prices have risen rapidly, and high-copper-content cables, radiators, copper pipes, and other items have become market favorites. They are snapped up by downstream companies as soon as they are delivered every morning. Although the prices of copper-containing scrap equipment purchased by merchants have increased by over 20%, the profits remain very substantial. (CCTV Finance)
