The U.S. officially establishes a key mineral alliance; Ministry of Foreign Affairs: Opposes rules based on small circles that undermine the international economic and trade order
February 5th, Foreign Ministry Spokesperson Lin Jian hosted a routine press conference.
A reporter from Yonhap News Agency asked, “Today, the United States officially established a Critical Minerals Alliance, with South Korea serving as the chair until June this year. What is China’s comment on this?”
In response, Lin Jian stated, “Maintaining an open, inclusive, and universally beneficial international trade environment aligns with the common interests of all countries. It is everyone’s responsibility to play a constructive role in maintaining the stability and security of the global critical mineral supply chain. At the same time, we oppose any country using small-circle rules to undermine the international economic and trade order.”
