Beaten to a pulp. -2.5 Review of the full beating.

Abstract generation in progress

Today’s market is really frustrating. The sharp gap down at the opening was completely unexpected, and there’s no reasonable explanation for the panic bidding. Is it just that the weak external environment is causing the big A-shares to follow suit? The main culprit for the market’s weak sentiment throughout the day is the underwhelming bidding that didn’t meet expectations. It’s really exhausting. Although the three major indices still declined across the board, there was a significant V-shaped recovery in the afternoon, making the market look more stable and oscillating reasonably. However, today’s V-shape recovery was mainly driven by large financials and liquor stocks pulling back; the money in stocks didn’t actually return. Also, the current mysterious funds are employing a strategy of only supporting without lifting, so investors are full of complaints. Now, the three major indices are entering a consolidation phase with high volatility, and investors’ experience is poor. For those chasing gains and selling on dips, it’s a deadly situation—strong sectors might be hot one day and then collapse the next. Yesterday’s AI sector was hot, today’s solar sector is hot, which is why today no funds dare to push further. No matter how strong a sector or how high a limit-up, tomorrow it might open low and plunge to the floor, with no premium at all. It’s really hard to explain. [Taoguba]

Today, there’s no more capital supporting normal themes. After two days of the “Sand Ren Zhu Xin” (literally “Sand Nut Heart”) pattern, the market’s weakness has brought out the ST (Special Treatment) stocks, which tend to be the focus during downturns. It’s quite ironic—there’s always a target that’s unafraid of hot water, and this time it’s ST Likuang. It just came out of the black room yesterday and hit a 20cm big daily limit, and today it continued to hit the limit again—pretty wild, right? Normal 20cm limit-up markets have never seen this kind of craziness. It’s really embarrassing, making funds create such wild “monster stocks” in the market. I’m full of resentment, but I really don’t recommend playing ST stocks because they are very likely to delist—they’re just walking on the edge of life and death.

Today was supposed to be a key point for the New Year’s theme, with expectations for space photovoltaic and optical fiber concepts. But space photovoltaic stocks just self-destructed, and optical fiber stocks also weakened under pressure. Neither could stand out to create a profitable rally for young investors. Maybe there really is no New Year’s theme this year. The market continues to stumble and oscillate, and in the last two days, it just ended with a红包 (red envelope, i.e., bonus or reward).

$1 Market Situation Today:
The three major indices opened lower and declined in the morning, then rebounded with a V-shape in the afternoon. The Shanghai Composite fell 0.64% to 4075.92, the Shenzhen Component Index dropped 1.44% to 13,952.71 points, and the ChiNext Index declined 1.55% to 3,260.28 points. The total turnover was 219.43 billion yuan, down 30.90 billion from the previous trading day. The more active sectors today were ST stocks and the Straits Strait concept stocks.

  1. Actual number of stocks hitting the daily limit: 57; actual number of stocks hitting the daily limit down: 24; limit-up rate: 83%.
  2. Number of stocks rising: 1,618; number of stocks falling: 3,719.

Market Summary: The entire market saw widespread declines, with a general loss effect. Although I was beaten today, my short-term account is still fully invested in the optical fiber concept. I won’t doubt love just because of one day’s beating. Those who love should stay firm in their beliefs until love sparks a magnificent firework. My trend account remains in cash.
