announced on February 3rd that Nike has officially announced the rebranding of its All Conditions Gear (ACG) brand, adopting a new positioning as a “professional outdoor performance brand” to once again set out on a new journey. The brand aims to serve athletes who are brave enough to challenge themselves, explore the mountains and wilderness, and live in harmony with nature, providing top-tier all-weather, all-terrain equipment support.
It is understood that ACG, founded in 1989, has a nearly forty-year legendary history of serving explorers worldwide. With this brand rebranding, ACG continues its mission to “create high-quality gear for extreme athletes in harsh environments,” and for the first time, fully incorporates the Nike Trail series into the brand system, focusing on three core scenarios: trail running, hiking, and outdoor exploration, announcing Nike’s long-term commitment to the outdoor performance market.
“This is a milestone moment in ACG’s development history,” said Scott LeClair, Vice President and General Manager of ACG globally. “We reaffirm the ‘all-weather, all-terrain’ concept and invite all athletes: stand up, go out, and explore freely. ACG will build on its historical foundation to shape the future of outdoor sports while exploring new, unimaginable fields.”
It is understood that ACG will focus on three main areas: trail running, hiking, and outdoor exploration, leading global outdoor athletes in equipment performance innovation. Its product lineup includes professional trail running shoes and functional outdoor apparel: flagship ACG Ultrafly trail running shoes, hardcore outdoor ACG Zegama trail running shoes, and specially designed ACG Radical AirFlow racing tops and ACG Lava Loft down jackets, among others.
Meanwhile, the Nike Trail series will be fully integrated into the ACG brand system. Leveraging Nike’s deep expertise in running, ACG will develop more innovative gear for various outdoor athletes in the future, empowering athletes of different skill levels and exercise intensities.
According to Nike, the world’s first ACG flagship store—the ACG Base Camp—will officially open in Sanlitun Taikoo Li, Beijing, in February.
