A game company owner just chatted with me and discussed what makes a good game. He said: "Addictive is a good game." I replied: "Addiction is the goal of game developers." I believe the standard for a good game is: you can learn something from it, you are willing to keep learning within the game, and you can learn more comprehensively than through other channels. So, I gave him an example: this image is a design by Cyangmou to create knights in the game, titled "Evolution of the European Knight." He researched almost all the world's historical libraries and examined materials from various ancient periods. After 8 months, he designed over 20 cartoon versions of European knights from different eras. Covering roughly 800 years from 888 AD to 1683 AD, showing the evolution of knight armor and equipment. Each small figure represents a knight from a specific historical period, including: changes in helmet styles (from simple helmets to fully enclosed helmets), development of armor (chainmail → plate armor → lighter late armor), weapon changes (lances, swords, battle axes, firearms), shields and heraldry (showing regional or era-specific styles). In the end, he said: "I very much agree and support." Actually, a good game is one of the best teachers in your life; it constantly motivates you, has the best methods for learning, and shows you what the real world is like.
