Odaily Planet Daily reports that according to SEC filings, BlackRock’s iShares has submitted an amended S-1 registration statement for the iShares Staked Ethereum Trust ETF to the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC). The ETF will primarily hold Ethereum and earn rewards through staking a portion of the Ethereum.
According to the document, the trust will be custodied by Coinbase Custody Trust Company and will enter into a staking service agreement with Coinbase Inc. Under normal market conditions, the trust plans to stake 70% to 95% of its Ethereum assets, while retaining a certain proportion of non-staked Ethereum as liquidity reserves to meet redemption demands. The ETF will be listed on the Nasdaq Stock Market under the trading symbol “ETHB.”
