According to Thai media Bangkok Post, a Chinese suspect named Duan Jianlei (nickname "Duan Boss") suspected of operating a fake cryptocurrency trading platform was arrested in Thailand. He fled to Thailand two years ago and was recently caught at a luxury house in Samut Prakan Province. The police stated that Duan Jianlei developed a fake trading platform called BHE Exchange and issued fake tokens DDO, promising an annual return of 6% and a 20-fold increase over 10 years, then shut down the platform and fled with the funds. The case involves approximately 20,000 victims, with losses of about 4 billion Thai Baht (approximately $110 million). Thailand has canceled his visa and is working on repatriating him to China.
