Abstract generation in progress

By August 2025, the number of women in the certified public accountant industry has exceeded 250,000, accounting for over 60%. Among them, 58,900 are practicing female CPAs, accounting for 54.86%; female partners in accounting firms number 17,261, making up 45.36%; and high-level female industry professionals total 271, accounting for 41.50%. I have long noticed that female practitioners and members make up the majority.

Based on the gender ratio of candidates in daily Q&A and coaching for intermediate CPAs, tax advisors, and evaluators, there are more female candidates, aged between 25 and 50.

Some gradually advance from intermediate to tax advisor to CPA, while others have rich practical experience and are already in financial management positions, aiming to pass the CPA exam and expand their knowledge.

Their identities are diverse, but most are working professionals and mothers. In recent years, among the candidates I’ve mentored, there are many pregnant women preparing for exams, which is quite challenging. There are also busy professionals who don’t want to give up studying; I often receive messages late at night saying, “Just finished work, about to start studying.”

At the beginning, when I saw their application forms and discussed details further, I could feel their seriousness and pursuit. Perhaps filling out the forms is a process of calmly and sincerely talking with themselves.

In daily study, their enthusiasm and execution are generally high—such as timely feedback on progress, asking specific questions, thinking deeply, and maintaining a humble attitude—indicating they are serious and shifting their mindset. Their exam results often reflect this, as shown by the number of pop-up notifications and feedback on scores.
