Australia Energy Minister: Plans to Release 7.62 Billion Liters of Fuel from Reserves

Gelonghui, March 13 — Australia announced on Friday that it will relax minimum stock requirements for fuel companies, allowing the minimum inventory obligations for gasoline and diesel to be reduced by up to 20%. This move aims to help alleviate disruptions in the fuel supply chain. Australia’s Energy Minister stated that this measure will release up to 762 million liters of fuel from the country’s domestic oil and diesel reserves.
