IT House, March 17 — Dell’s workstation product line was named Precision until 2024. However, in 2025, they significantly revised the naming system, with Precision roughly corresponding to Dell Pro Max.

Similar to the situations with XPS and Dell Premium, Precision is more well-known and has greater appeal compared to Dell Pro Max. Therefore, on March 16, 2026, Dell officially announced the launch of “Pro Precision,” a naming scheme that combines traditional and new formats.

The revived Pro Precision series includes both desktop and mobile products. The flagship tower workstation, Pro Precision 9 T6, features 15 PCIe slots and can accommodate up to two 600W or five 300W NVIDIA RTX PRO Blackwell professional graphics cards. The mobile workstation versions come in 14- and 16-inch models.
