PayPal expands access to the stablecoin PYUSD to an additional 68 countries

Deep Tide TechFlow News, on March 17, according to Fortune, PayPal announced a significant expansion of its stablecoin PYUSD coverage. Starting this month, users in 70 countries worldwide will be able to hold, send, and receive PYUSD in their PayPal wallets. The new countries include many in South America, Africa, and Asia, such as Uganda, Colombia, and Peru. Previously, PYUSD was only available to users in the United States and the United Kingdom.

International users gaining access to PYUSD will also be able to earn returns by holding the stablecoin. Currently, the annualized yield for US users is 4%.
