The Ministry of Industry and Information Technology and four other departments issued the “Guidelines for Improving and Upgrading the Tea Industry (2026–2030).” It emphasizes enhancing the application level of technological equipment. Make good use of subsidies for agricultural machinery purchase and application, strengthen the research and promotion of practical equipment for tea tree planting and maintenance, and reinforce the application of new agricultural machinery equipment such as integrated water and fertilizer management in standard tea gardens, drone plant protection, and natural disaster monitoring. Research on tea color sorting and grading equipment, intelligent processing control systems, and other technologies has been included in the “first (set)” and “first edition” policy support scope, promoting an orderly transition toward cleaner, standardized, automated, and intelligent production and processing.
