Malaysia's rubber replanting subsidy increased to 23,000 ringgit per hectare

The Rubber Industry Smallholders Development Authority (RISDA) in Malaysia announced that starting this year, the subsidy for replanting rubber in Sarawak has increased from RM14,805 to RM23,000 per hectare. Deputy Prime Minister Dato’ Sri Ahmad Zahid Hamidi stated that the subsidy increase of RM8,195 per hectare will support the country’s smallholder rubber industry, especially in Sarawak. The adjustment considers factors such as rising plantation development costs.
