According to The Washington Post, after entering the third week of military strikes launched by the United States and Israel against Iran, U.S. intelligence agencies have recently assessed that the Iranian regime has been weakened but has become more hardline.

U.S. intelligence agencies believe that the Iranian leadership still controls the country, with no signs of internal division, and the regime remains stable with no imminent change.

According to two informed sources, since the outbreak of hostilities, the Iranian regime has withstood pressure and has become more hardline with the support of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps. Western officials and analysts studying Iran believe there are no obvious cracks or signs of defection within the Iranian leadership, and a regime change is unlikely in the short term.
