AI scientist and investor Rana el Kaliouby warned that the artificial intelligence field risks becoming a "male club," further widening the economic gap for women in the tech sector. Speaking at South by Southwest, she pointed out that three-quarters of investments from her company, Blue Tulip Ventures, go to startups led by female CEOs, highlighting the necessity of actively supporting women founders. She cautioned that if measures are not taken to prioritize diversity and ethics, the development of the AI industry could be compromised.
