Galaxy Raises 2.5 Billion Yuan in Financing, Chengdu State-Owned Capital Enters Embodied AI
On March 2nd, the “star actor” on the Spring Festival Gala stage of the Year of the Horse announced a new round of financing. Galaxy General Robotics announced the completion of a 2.5 billion yuan new round of funding, breaking its previous record of $300 million (about 2.1 billion yuan) in single-round funding for embodied intelligence in China, set in December 2025. The investors in this round include the National Artificial Intelligence Industry Fund (Phase III of the National Big Fund), Sinopec, CITIC Group Investment Holding, Bank of China, and others. Notably, the Future Industry Fund managed by Chengdu Kechuang Investment Group also participated in this round. Additionally, the latest information from reporters indicates that the Future Industry Angel Fund under Chengdu Kechuang Investment Group has also completed an equity investment in Sichuan Embodied Humanoid Robotics Technology Co., Ltd. The funds raised will mainly be used to support core technology R&D, production line construction, and team expansion for Sichuan Embodied Technology, helping to advance technological innovation and industrialization in humanoid robots, quadruped robot dogs, and other fields, accelerating the leap from key technological breakthroughs to scene-based industrialization.
