Bitcoin spot ETFs approved in early 2024 have made cryptocurrency trading more accessible, allowing investors to purchase through traditional brokerage accounts without directly managing cryptocurrencies. The five largest funds show significant differences, with iShares Bitcoin Trust (IBIT) reaching $55.51 billion in assets under management and extremely high liquidity, while Grayscale Bitcoin Trust (GBTC) has a fee rate as high as 1.50%, six times that of some competitors.
