Postal Savings Bank Zhangping Branch Launches 3·15 Consumer Rights Protection Publicity Campaign

In order to effectively strengthen the financial safety net for residents in the area and improve the financial literacy and self-protection capabilities of the public, recently, the Postal Savings Bank of China Zhangping Branch visited Juzi Island Park in Zhangping City to carry out a themed publicity activity. Through practical actions, they protected residents’ “money bags” and conveyed the warmth of finance.

At the event site, the branch set up a convenient communication bridge with citizens by hanging promotional banners, displaying science popularization boards, and distributing informational brochures. Staff members precisely tailored their outreach to different groups, conducting layered publicity: for the elderly, focusing on high-frequency risks such as telecom and online fraud, using real cases to explain scams like strangers calling for transfers and fake high-yield investments, repeatedly reminding them “do not trust, do not disclose, do not transfer”; for young consumers, emphasizing the dangers of online lending, credit maintenance knowledge, and personal information protection, guiding them to establish rational consumption habits; for families with children, explaining deposit insurance and basic financial knowledge to help minors build a solid foundation in financial safety awareness.

The interactive session was lively, with staff patiently answering residents’ questions about bank card usage, compliance of financial products, complaint channels, and rights protection. They guided residents step-by-step to download the “National Anti-Fraud Center” app and explained in detail how to use the 12378 financial consumer complaint hotline 【Download Black Cat Complaint Client】, ensuring that the publicity knowledge is deeply understood and practically applied. Meanwhile, they strengthened the promotion of the eight basic rights of financial consumers, encouraging residents to enhance risk awareness and learn to protect their rights legally and rationally.

This activity distributed over 200 promotional materials, received more than 80 inquiries from residents, effectively covering the surrounding park area, and further expanded the reach of financial consumer protection knowledge. Moving forward, the Postal Savings Bank of China Zhangping Branch will continue to deepen consumer rights protection work, integrating financial consumer protection into daily routines and practices, providing more precise and considerate financial services, safeguarding residents’ legal rights, and helping create a safe, harmonious, and trustworthy financial consumption environment, fulfilling the social responsibilities of a state-owned bank.
