Iranian officials: U.S. mistakes have caused the world to "lose the Strait of Hormuz"

Local time on March 31, Ali Fadavi, the deputy commander of Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps, said that the United States’ “stupid actions” caused the world to “lose the Strait of Hormuz.” Ali Fadavi said that the United States misjudged the situation, and that none of the goals it had originally set to achieve within three to five days was ultimately achieved. Many Western analysts also confirmed this. Ali Fadavi said that the Strait of Hormuz had originally been open and unobstructed, but due to the United States’ mistakes, the world “lost the Strait of Hormuz.” (CCTV News)
