Iran strikes Riyadh oil refinery's U.S.-exclusive zone, causing a large fire

An Iranian side report said on 18 local time that Iran successfully struck the U.S.-exclusive area of the Riyadh oil and gas joint refining plant located on the outskirts of Riyadh, Saudi Arabia’s capital, and that the strike hit the Riyadh oil and gas joint refining and petrochemical plant. A series of explosions occurred inside the refinery, triggering a large-scale fire. The report said that the attack on the refinery destroyed the aircraft fuel reserves, which will directly cause the fuel resupply process for U.S. military aircraft to fall into paralysis or face severe disruption. It is understood that the U.S. military has been using this refinery to supply fuel for U.S. Air Force aircraft stationed at the Prince of Sudan Air Force Base. (CCTV News)
