Enterprise-grade WLAN enters a new era of cloud-intelligence integration

With AI technology accelerating into real-world deployment, enterprise real-time collaboration becoming widely adopted, and ongoing deepening of digital transformation of core businesses, enterprise-grade wireless networks are shifting from “basic connectivity” to becoming the core digital infrastructure that supports efficient enterprise operations and business innovation upgrades. In H3C’s view, future technical development of enterprise-grade WLAN will show three trends:

■ Experience-driven: The evaluation standard for networks is shifting from “whether it is connected” to “whether the experience is excellent.” In response to core needs such as high-density access, high mobility, and mission-critical workload delivery for enterprise-grade WLAN, the network must have deep business awareness capabilities—able to automatically and accurately identify enterprise-critical traffic such as video conferencing and real-time control, and provide deterministic bandwidth, latency, and jitter assurances to ensure that core applications remain smooth, stable, and reliable in high-density and high-mobility scenarios.

■ Intelligent autonomy: As AI moves from content generation toward autonomous decision-making and execution (Agentic AI), enterprise-grade wireless networks need end-to-end closed-loop capabilities for “sense–decide–execute.” For complex enterprise business processes, the network must autonomously understand task intent and precisely allocate wireless resources, achieving self-optimization and autonomy in dynamic environments to better support the efficient operation of scenarios such as automated office and industrial intelligent control.

■ Cloud-based control: The construction model for enterprise-grade WLAN is accelerating its transformation from “on-premises control” to “centralized intelligence in the cloud.” By leveraging a cloud management platform, unified policies across regional networks, touchless deployment, and remote intelligent operations and maintenance can be achieved. On the other hand, through data aggregation and AI analysis in the cloud, the network can provide precise assurance of business experience and fault self-healing, thereby shifting from a collection of distributed hardware cost centers to an agile, intelligent service that supports business innovation.

H3C leads the new generation of intelligent wireless networks with the cloud

Based on in-depth insights into industry trends and precise understanding of customer needs, H3C has laid early groundwork in the intelligent wireless domain, and has innovatively proposed the “Cloud + 4i” core technology framework, creating a new-generation intelligent enterprise-grade wireless network solution suited to future intelligent development. This framework is built on the core philosophy of “intelligence concentrated in the cloud, intelligence enabled at the edge.” Through cloud-edge deep collaboration, it constructs an integrated, end-to-end network capability architecture. In the cloud, H3C Cloudnet cloud management platform acts as the hub, aggregating end-to-end device operation, user access, and business traffic data across the entire network, and enabling deep analysis, intelligent decision-making, and unified policy delivery through AI algorithms. At the edge, devices such as AC and AP carry four major intelligent engines: iRadio, iStation, iEdge, and iHeal, precisely addressing the key pain points across the entire workflow of wireless networking. It fully covers four critical areas—RF signal optimization, terminal access guidance, application experience assurance, and intelligent operations maintenance troubleshooting—and through coordinated interaction, forms a closed-loop capability that covers the entire lifecycle of wireless networking. Leveraging the cloud-edge deep collaboration architecture, H3C builds an end-to-end intelligent wireless network closed loop of “sense–analyze–decide–execute,” comprehensively improving user access experience, operations and maintenance efficiency, and scenario deployment speed. From the root cause, it solves core issues of traditional enterprise-grade wireless networks such as cumbersome operations and maintenance, fluctuating experiences, and insufficient cross-domain collaboration, providing stable, efficient, and more adaptable intelligent wireless support for a wide range of enterprise scenarios.

03

Full-scenario coverage with deep AI integration for an upgraded wireless experience

In terms of wireless access technology iterations and terminal experience upgrades, H3C Group keeps pace with global wireless technology frontiers, continuously increases R&D investment, completes an end-to-end product matrix layout around Wi-Fi 7, and releases a series of products covering high-density parks, small office sites, complex outdoor environments, and industrial demanding scenarios—fully adapting to the differentiated wireless networking requirements of multiple industries and multiple scenarios. At present, H3C has also laid a forward-looking plan for next-generation Wi-Fi 8 technology, focusing on more fine-grained RF resource management to build core capabilities that can adapt to more complex wireless environments.

In addition, H3C integrates AI capabilities throughout the entire lifecycle of wireless networks, covering key areas such as intelligent RF scheduling, multi-terminal collaborative control and management, mission-critical traffic priority assurance, fault self-healing, and intelligent traffic allocation. It achieves dynamic optimization of network performance and self-iteration. Even in complex scenarios with high concurrency, high density, and high mobility, it can still maintain high-speed, stable, low-latency operation, fully upgrading overall user experience in scenarios such as large enterprise parks, campuses, hospitals, and shopping malls—laying a solid, reliable wireless foundation for enterprise digital transformation.

Looking ahead, H3C Group will always be driven by technological innovation, continuously lead the evolution and development of enterprise-grade wireless networks, and provide more stable, efficient, and trustworthy network infrastructure for digital and intelligent upgrades across all industries.
