Investment firm Gobi Partners announces investment in payment infrastructure provider Transak. Founded in 2019, Transak aims to provide financial institutions with a single API for seamless fiat-to-digital asset exchanges and handles identity verification (KYC), anti-money laundering (AML), and risk monitoring. Currently, Transak has obtained over 21 regulatory approvals in countries and regions including the US, UK, Europe, Canada, and India. Transak has now established its Asia-Pacific headquarters in Hong Kong. This investment aims to promote stablecoin adoption and cross-border settlement in the Asian market.
