Potential Hengxin: QK18-9-7 Well Achieves New Exploration Breakthrough Again

People Finance News, April 7—On April 7, Potential Hengxin (300191) issued an announcement. As of now, Well QK18-9-7 has completed all drilling, logging, well logging, and oil testing work, with a total drilled well depth of 4,820 m. The well, in the northeast direction of the 09/17 contract area, obtained an exploration breakthrough again at a low-lying location. In the Ordovician, Jurassic, and Shahejie formation layers, oil and gas discoveries were achieved. Drilling into the Ordovician buried-hill target formation reached 528 meters. Oil and gas-bearing layers were encountered in the Ordovician, and the highest gas log measurements reached more than 60%. The hydrocarbon components are complete. Testing of the Ordovician buried-hill open-hole interval confirmed that it is a condensate gas reservoir. The successful drilling of this well further expanded the oil- and gas-bearing area within the contract area.
