A turmoil in the Middle East has directly changed the flow of oil, and U.S. crude oil exports are highly likely to hit a record high in April. Asian buyers are starting to bypass the Middle East, with U.S. exports increasing from 3.9 million barrels per day to 5.2 million barrels, including Asian demand reaching 2.5 million barrels. Even the number of ships has increased, with 68 oil tankers heading to the U.S., up from just 24 before. Whoever can supply stably will attract more orders. However, the more intense the competition outside, the easier it is for domestic U.S. prices to be driven higher.
