This is the most comforting words I have ever heard, from Maupassant's "A Life".

Some people pass away at thirty-two, while others leave at fifty.
You must understand that we don't leave only when we are old, but at any moment, we might leave this world.
The meaning of life is to live fully and experience it well; after a hundred years, time will erase all traces we left in this world.
Don't worry over trivial matters. Don't punish yourself for others' mistakes. Let unhappiness fill our brief life.
The dignity we pursue, the gains and losses we care about, and the hurts that linger—are all insignificant in the face of death.
Maupassant said, life won't be as good as you imagine, nor as bad as you imagine.
Sometimes you may be so fragile that a single sentence makes you burst into tears; sometimes you find you can grit your teeth and walk a very long way.
Love isn't everything in life, but loving yourself is a lifelong lesson.
Marriage isn't the end of happiness, but the beginning of growth.
Life may have regrets, but it is still worth loving.
Life gives me pain, but I respond with song.
