Recently, I've come across a bunch of "social mining/points" task flows, signing in daily, sharing, participating in group discussions, earning more and more badges, but honestly, it's just using time as fuel.

I’ve looked through several contracts, and the permissions are all flashy: able to change rules at any time, blacklist addresses, even migrate points with one click. If there's a crackdown, you won't even have an appeal channel...

Now there's still fuss about NFT royalties—saying they want to support creators but also complain that secondary liquidity is restricted. It's actually very similar to points: identity and rights are written behind buttons that others can modify.
My approach is very simple: only develop products I truly use, treat points as freebies, not as goals; for permissions that are too upgradeable, I’d rather take less, to avoid losing my mindset later.
That’s it for now.
