Venezuela resumes diluting crude oil exports

Venezuela’s state oil company documents show that the country has resumed the export of a key grade of crude oil—diluted crude oil (DCO)—this month, which is made by blending heavy crude with imported naphtha. Venezuela has stopped exporting this type of crude since the end of 2024. According to the documents, resuming exports will help reduce millions of barrels of accumulated inventory. (CCTV News)
